The Town currently has a vacancy for a citizen member on the Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA).  By Indiana Code, this particular seat must meet the following requirements:

• Republican (1 R and 2 D on current board);
• Cannot hold an elected office or any other appointed office in local, county, or state government;
• Must be a Fortville resident or a resident of Hancock Co. who owns property in town.
• The Plan Commission may appoint this individual to the BZA.
