This community park is a large natural park situated at the junction of Stottlemeyer Ditch and Jackson Ditch, creating its rolling hillsides and running water. Many large trees make this an ideal park setting for picnicking, hiking, walking, etc. The park also has many facilities for active recreation and contains playground equipment. Memorial Park is monitored via Flock Safety (license plate recognition) and CCTV cameras, and manually patrolled by the Fortville Police Department.

Waterways
Jackson Ditch flows through Fortville Memorial Park, just south of the paved entry road. Stottlemeyer Ditch forms the park's north boundary. These ditches/creeks, along with the adjacent banks and vegetation, create the park's natural setting.
